: We spent one night in this unusual small hotel in a beautiful Cabbagetown house. Our room had its own bathroom, others seem to have shared baths. There's a communal kitchen on the ground floor. There's on-site parking and the surrounding area has everything you'll need, including groceries, restaurants, and some very charming bars. The room was clean and staff were friendly. The stay was very budget friendly while still within reasonable walking distance of downtown Toronto.
: The check-in and arrival process could have been a bit smoother... There's no front desk, and we had to call them to find out how to get into our room. Although, considering that we booked only a few hours in advance this is quite excusable. They were were helpful on the phone and everything went smoothly from there. Besides that, there were only few very minor issues, e.g. the bathroom, although it was clean, could be better maintained, and had poor water pressure in the shower, and the bed was a little bit uncomfortable.
